If it is an emergency, ring rather than emailing

An email sits in an inbox until someone opens it. A burst pipe does not wait. If water is getting somewhere it should not be, call 0275 345 184. We have a van on call.

Two things to do before we get there

• Turn the water off. The toby is usually near the boundary, often under a small round cover in the lawn or the footpath. Turning it clockwise shuts the house down and stops the damage getting worse. It is worth finding yours now, in daylight, rather than at eleven at night with a torch.
• If it is near wiring or a switchboard, treat it as electrical too. Keep away from it and say so when you ring, so we know what we are walking into.

Everyday maintenance

We provide maintenance of all plumbing related fixtures and requirements. Most of it is small and unglamorous, and most of it is far cheaper than what it turns into if it is left:

• Dripping and seized taps, and mixer cartridges
• Running or leaking toilets, quietly one of the biggest water wasters in a house
• Leaking wastes and traps under vanities and sinks
• Water piping repair where sub-standard existing pipework has started letting go
• Spouting and downpipes, repaired or replaced, so the water goes where it is supposed to rather than into a wall
• Outdoor taps, laundry connections and appliance plumbing

Holiday homes at Waipu Cove and Langs Beach

A house that sits empty for months has a particular problem: a small leak has nobody to notice it, and salt air is hard on tapware and fittings. If you have a bach here that gets used a few weeks a year, it is worth having it looked over before a season rather than discovering something during one. Ring and we will sort out when suits.
